Too Heavy to Carry is an artistic reflection on the once-vibrant Jewish life that animated Leipzig’s Brühl.

Conceived as a temporary public installation, the work takes the form of

a locker cabinet whose compartments serve as vitrines for historical traces, artistic and contemplation.

The installation acts as an ephemeral memorial, complemented by a public program.

The workshops are open to all. Participation is free of charge.
